Correspondence to Morley Roberts, 1934.

The correspondence was initiated by Morley Roberts, who wrote to Raymond Pearl concerning Pearl's book Constitution and health, and sent him a reprint of his own article on John Hunter; Pearl responds gladly, having already read and valued Roberts's book Malignancy and evolution. In the second letter, Pearl offers his opinion about publication chances of a book Roberts was calling Social physiology and pathology; and recommends to Roberts as fundamental reading Vilfredo Pareto's Traité de sociologie générale. He also agrees with a position Roberts took on mysticism in the work of Eddington and Milliken. Pearl intended to travel to England in the near future and there was a plan for he and Roberts to meet.
